De Blob

This interactive demo is a recreation of the game “De Blob” and uses C++ and DirectX. This was originally developed for a module at University called “Interactive 3D Graphics”, where I was required to build a 3D engine, then build on top of the engine to create De Blob. I managed to implement the basic features of De Blob; moving around the blob, colouring different buildings, etc…

In my free time during my work placement year at University, I made some improvements to the engine, such as planar shadows, improved camera movement, player movement and added a skybox. I also integrated the True Axis physics engine.
